What is a Private Pilates class and Why would I do one?
Are you interested in Pilates and not sure where to start? Do you have a ongoing injury or have ongoing pain? Do you feel a group class overwhelming? Or would you like a personalized program to suit your bodies needs to accelerate your specific health goals?
Pilates is all about posture and alignment. If you think of your skeleton and how your muscles, ligaments, and tendons hold your bones, when muscles become weak or tight they pull your bones out of alignment causing tension and strain on muscles, tendons, and ligaments. What happens is you end up having constant pain in the body from these imbalances.
In a private pilates session we can look at your posture and muscles, find any imbalances or improper movement patterns and help you bring your body back to a balanced state so you can live pain and tension free.
Our studio classes are designed for either 1:1 or 1:2 sessions with one of our qualified pilates instructors. A 1:1 session will be you and the instructor and a 1:2 session will be you and another client. Please book an initial appointment before any other sessions.
